Welcome to Calori, a service operated by Nadav Shevy ("Calori," "we," "our," "us"). By accessing or using our application (the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our Service.

• Age Requirement: Our Service is intended for individuals aged 18 and above. By using our Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
• Geographic Restriction: Our Service is exclusively available for use within Israel. Accessing or using the Service from outside this region is not permitted.

3. Account Registration and Management

• Account Creation: To use our Service, you must create an account by completing the onboarding survey within the app and linking your account to Google Account / Apple Account / Email Address.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Account Termination: You may terminate your account at any time through the app's settings. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease immediately.

4. User Responsibilities

• Compliance with Laws: You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Prohibited Activities: You shall not engage in any activity that:
  • Violates any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks.
  • Engages in data scraping, data mining, or similar data extraction methods.
  • Reverse engineers, decompiles, disassembles, or otherwise attempts to derive the source code, algorithms, models, AI prompts, API structure, or any underlying proprietary logic of the Service, whether for the purpose of building a competing product or for any other purpose.

5. Third-Party Services Integration

• We utilize Google Gemini API services to analyze and process certain data within the Service. By using our Service, you agree to comply with Google's Terms of Service. For more details on their data handling practices, please refer to their documentation.
• Our Service integrates with Open Food Facts API to provide nutritional information. By using our Service, you agree to adhere to Open Food Facts' Terms of Use. Proper attribution is provided within the Service, as required by their terms.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

• Ownership: All content, features, and functionalities of the Service are owned by Calori and are protected by intellectual property laws.
• User Content: By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute such content within the Service.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

• No Warranty: The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calori shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

11. Non-Compete and Anti-Competitive Use

By using this Service, you agree that you will not, directly or indirectly, use any information, data, or proprietary technology accessed through this Service to develop, market, or promote any product, service, or application that competes with Calori. You further agree not to solicit our users, employees, or business partners for any competing activities. Any attempt to use our proprietary platform, API structure, or aggregated data to build a competing solution is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
